Bruce Schroffel returned to the Theatre 40 stage where he was seen last season in "Catch of the Day." Recent Theatre credits include a role as Charlie Owens in "Human Resources", "Charlie's Aunt," "45 Seconds from Broadway", "The Music Man" and Uncle Jocko in "Gypsy". He is also seen at Southern California venues performing with his Barbershop Quartet, Generation Gap, and the Santa Monica Oceanaires Barbershop Chorus. He performs regularly as The Great El Moldo, the world’s second greatest magician Bruce has recently appeared as Earl, one of the Local Drunks, in "Drunk Talk" at The Dragonfly in Santa Monica. While he is still at the helm of NetAdvantage, an Internet consulting firm, Bruce’s theatrical resume includes appearances on The Tonight Show With Conan O’Brien, The Bonnie Hunt Show and as Buddy #1 in a recent commercial for Norm’s Restaurant. Favorite stage roles include Lil Abner (General Bullmoose), Gypsy (Uncle Jocko and Phil) with The Kentwood Players. Charley’s Aunt (Spettigue) at Theatre Palisades. Bruce has also been seen on Broadway as a clown in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. Bruce is appearing in wonderfully moving short film called the Porcelain Unicorn which has been selected as a top 10 semi-finalist in the Philips Parallel Lines competition, chosen from among 300 international entries.
